Last stop after a day of shopping...:-)

We decided to drive to Grand Junction, Colorado today, a side trip of about 70 miles. We were looking for the closest Sam’s Club. Jerry upgraded his phone to the I Phone 4S. The last time we were in Grand Junction we had Betty with us and we visited the Colorado Monument and more in the area. This time we just went shopping, we did eat at the same Red Lobster we ate at with Betty. It made us miss Betty much. :)

On the way there we passed through a cool town called Delta, Colorado. It is known as the town of murals, I managed to get a couple of the murals on the way, we will definitely be going back to Delta for more later.

The scenery on the way to Grand Junction was quite unusual, I am adding a few pictures to show our readers. It looked almost like salt in the fields and very sandy looking hills. Quite different from the other side of Grand Junction we visited last time. See updates from our earlier visit in 2011 dated October 30th when we visited the Grand Mesa, the Colorado Monument and more.

Another wonderful day in Colorado, check back later for more.
