Family Lunch at Henley Beach-Adelaide, Australia

Sunday 16th October 2011 Weather:-Lovely and Sunny

Jetstar Flight JQ452 dep. Adelaide 7:50pm Arr. Coolangatta, Queensland 9:40pm

A good night’s sleep was followed by lots of games on the Wii where Luke thoroughly enjoyed beating us and to his delight I think (as I have no idea how to drive on a TV screen) that I only ever managed to finish one lap and when Herman got within a chance of beating him he upped the anti by picking the hardest game there was. Brunch was had in a cafe’ in Henley Beach and with the absolutely fabulous weather a nice long beach walk looking for sea shells followed.

Sunday evening saw us travelling with ‘JetStar’ back to the Coolangatta Airport here on the Gold Coast, it is only about a 12 minutes drive away from our place in Banora Point which is on the other side of the border in New south Wales. We were met by Willie and Rosalie, our friends who holidayed in our place for the last month that we were away and on Monday 6 of us Willie and Rosalie, Eduard (Willie’s brother who lives here on the Gold Coast) and Kate, Herman and myself had a “Ciao Judy and Herman/Arriverderci Rosalie and Willie” lunch and now all is as it should be, we are happy, healthy and contented, waiting for the world to come and visit us instead of the other way around. THE END
