Today we drove to the Newburgh/New York City North KOA, which actually is in Plattekill, New York. Linda arrived about an hour before Barb and I did. Barb and I plan to stay at least five days but Linda will stay only three. This is the nicest KOA I've every stayed in.
We all bought tickets for a bus tour that will pick us up at the KOA tomorrow at 7:15 a.m. That's very early for my spoiled body. :>) The tickets were $94 each. I also bought some milk (2.19 per half gallon) and a small box of Raisin Bran (5.59). Ouch! Daisy's lunch at Newtown, Connecticut cost 2.959 per gallon. Did I tell you that things are more expensive up here than back in Texas?
The three of us got together tonight to plan our activities for the next 2-3 weeks. It's a challenge to estimate how much time we need at each place!
