We left the mountains and headed for Santa Rosa State Park. Streets and Trips had the directions totally screwed up. It's a good thing we were following the signs. At one point, the GPS showed we were driving across unmarked fields - no road at all. The site has water and electric and is ok, but not close to the lake at all. There were lot of burrs and green stickers around the campsite, so we brought out the dog boots for Madision. Check out the video
to see how she responds to our first putting them on. She did get better after a while, but they sound really funny when she runs.We stayed two nights here and finished watching The Lord of the Rings trilogy - extended versions. It was very nice. Headed toward Clovis day after tomorrow.
