Not too much to say about Whistler. We decided that we wanted to come here and spend another day in the mountains. We also decided not to ski as apparently we would need money to pay for our last weeks food, accom etc. It was a tough call. Still, we wouldn't be as lucky as we were in Banff and Whistler was only partially opened for Spring skiing now.
Our plan instead was to hire some bikes, perhaps brave the bears and take a few hikes but it seemed mother nature had other ideas and it rained the whole time. Not the most interesting entry i'm afraid.
Instead we lazed about our hostel which was in the most beautiful location we have stayed so far on the lip of a lake with views of the ski mountains. In the summer they have a canoe that you can take out for free but they wouldn't let us as the water was still far too cold and if we fell in that would probably be the end of that story.
As well as beautiful the Hostel was rather remote. We had to cross a railway to get to it with only the good old fashioned stop, look and listen to save us.
