After seeing Butte, we drove to the small town of Reed Point, MT., where camped between the freeway and the railroad tracks. I didn’t hear a thing but Mel heard the trains. Nice RV park called the Old West RV Park. It is about 2 hours from Billings. We are on our way to Little Big Horn National Monument.

We spent about 3 hours there. We first watched the movie at the visitors center which set the stage for the rest of the tour. The battlefield was about 3.5 mile drive, with an audio tour that was narrated through your cell phone. It really provided you with the facts and you could visualize how the battle took place. You will see the white headstone for the soldiers and red headstones for the Indians scattered over the hillsides. It was very enlightening to learn about both sides of the war. It also, had several walking trails, but we decided not to walk them. The pictures will explain more.
