Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 A Day at Sea

Leaving Kotor via the twisty channel, we were ready for a day on the sea. We decided to have breakfast in the Windows Cafe rather than room service as we have done on the more busy days. Azamara provides free laundry facilities and we had taken advantage of the washer and dryer room. We stretched out on the deck chairs on deck 5 and then lunch on the pool deck. This was cooked by the officers and the captain dished out the beans for the bar-b-q. Besides the spare ribs, there was a whole pig. Tom topped off the meal with a gelato. At 3PM, we listened to a talk on Venice and its history in world trade by “Skip” the featured speaker for this cruise. Since we are on our second Azamara cruise, we were invited to a cocktail party - really a sales rally sponsored by the onboard booking office. We are already signed up for the “The Pacific Coast of Central America and Mexico” cruise in January. So, there was not much selling they had to do to get us to travel with them again. This is the life!
