This morning I had to be up a lot earlier than my sleepy head wanted me to be because I had two stops to make before going to San Marcos.
First, I went to Discount Tires to have the tire pressure checked. One of the tires was especially low; I’m not sure of the cause. In another case, one of the rear dual tires couldn’t be checked because they couldn’t get their tool onto the valve stem. They said that they would need to take the outer wheel off. Since I had another stop to make, I told them I would return tomorrow afternoon.
Next on the agenda was a stop in Buda at Crestview RV to have a sewer hose carrier mounted under my rear bumper. That will free up some space in my storage bin. That job didn’t take very long, so I was soon on my way to San Marcos to meet up with my Cen-Tex RV buds.
This time I couldn’t stay for the entire campout because of a schedule conflict. A short stay is better than none at all, though. I was happy to see Janis Shull, a former Cen-Tex member. She took time to attend our campout while she was in the area to visit her son in Bastrop.
