Northeast and Maritime Canada 2011 travel blog

We drove across Indiana and on to Dayton, OH, today to meet up with David and Brenda Farmer--Michael's brother from Knoxville, TN. Everyone arrived by 2PM when the temperature index was somewhere above 110 degrees. After a line of thunderstorms blew through the area--missing us--it was only 95 and humid. The local weather man said the last time it was above 94 in Dayton was 2007! What a surprise for us--we are usually at locations that set temperature records! Fortunately, the temperature in a few days will have a hard time getting above 82--we are all ready. Tomorrow we intend to tour the Museum of the Air Force and see more of Dayton. The KOA is really great with a beautiful pool, miniature golf, and lots of family activities. The shade trees make is very nice looking. I will post photos tomorrow.
