It was a nice, easy 136 mile trip over the back roads between Mountain Park and Purcell, OK. It was through mostly farm country with a few cows and oil wells thrown in for variety. We are staying at Chandler RV Park which is a small city park and have a 50 amp full hookup pull-through site, good Verizon coverage and a clear shot to the satellite. The only problem with the sites is they are more than a little unlevel and the hookups and a stationary picnic table are so close to the pad that positioning was difficult with our slide-outs but we made it after a few attempts.
We have had a fantastic week here visiting with my only relatives left in Oklahoma. My Aunt Eulene, her daughter, Jeannie and her husband, Randy. Their son Jarrod and his wife Sarah also live nearby with their newborn daughter, Elizabeth Jane. We ate much too much (Jeannie is a great cook) so I guess we will have to diet now for awhile OR maybe not since we are headed for a 10 day visit to Branson, MO tomorrow.
We were also fortunate to have Jeannie and Randy's daughter, Heather, come in from California for a day or two. I was able to include a picture of the four generations represented by Aunt Eulene, Randy and Jeannie, Jarrod and Sarah, and their daughter, Elizabeth. Jarrod's grandmother, and Randy's mother,Inez was also able to visit and be in the picture. So we had both great grandmothers, the grandparents, mother and father and daughter all in one picture - that isn't easy anymore!!
