Halifax, Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia, means New Scotland, of course, has lots of Scottish influences. Everywhere you hear bagpipes playing. The capital of Nova Scotia is Halifax and is the largest city in Canada's Atlantic Provinces. Although we all had different shore excursions today, everyone had a chance to visit the famous fishing village of Peggy's Cove with her famous lighthouse. This quaint little village with just over 100 population is very picturesque. We had absolutely beautiful weather again today. This evening was the Captain's Circle cocktail party for repeat passengers of Princess. For those that went, they were able to meet the Captain and even take a picture with him. This was our second formal night and lobster was finally on the menu for dinner. Gayla stuck with her chicken, but everyone else had the lobster.
