Battle of Ventura

Attack #7-Volksmarching in Ventura21 May - We convoyed 10 miles up the coast to conduct the 2nd attack of the day, as this was our 1st day of duel strikes. It was part II of a most pleasant day on the streets and beaches of this Southern California Beach Community.

After the successful attack, we returned to camp for another peaceful night on the Port Hueneme Naval Base.

Mission Status for day 6 of 16: Completed 6th and 7th of 21 scheduled attacks for a total of 65.5 miles on the ground and 511 convoy miles.
