Feedin' the critters again

Just Chillin'

Joshua Tree

Classy and Christina summer '07

We made it to Palm Springs on Thurs. On Wed. we stopped at the Wildlife World Zoo and checked out the critters. It is a very nice place. We were able to get up close and see lots of neat animals. Not as touristy as most zoos but still had their ways of trying to weasel out a few extra bucks. The resort here is nice with a pool and jacuzzi and we can see snow covered mountaintops from inside the pool. Very cool. There are thousands of Palm trees and lots of grass. Something we have not seen much of in a while. I heard there was going to be PGA tournament here in January and found out they were looking for volunteers. I applied and got accepted to be a walking scorekeeper for the event Jan 16-20. How cool is that!!! Should be lots of celebs. and big name Golf pros there. It is called the Bob Hope Dessert Classic. Had to buy my own shirts and jacket though, but it should be worthwhile. We also took a ride up to the Joshua Tree Natl. park, which turned into a wild Jeep trail ride. More on that next time. We have had some very bad news today. Christina's horse Classy had to be put down due to illness. She was a very well mannered and much loved Paint. We wish we could have been there for the very rough time of the last couple of days for Chrissy and Angela. We love you very much and will miss Classy a lot. Thank You Classy for the gift of the great times you gave us.
