What a nice way to wake up on your 4th birthday! Or...

We arrived in Delta, Utah about 5:30pm this evening. It was actually 6:30pm, as we are now on Mountain time. After getting set up we unhooked the truck & took it down to wash off all the bugs, raindrops & dirt in general. Whew, it was a mess. Certainly looks much better now. After fueling up we headed back home & reheated leftover spaghetti for dinner. Funny how it tastes even better the second time around. Picks up all that flavor I guess.

It was an easy drive today, not much traffic. We were surprised to see a number of new wind/power turbines out near the turn-off to Great Basin National Park. And several bike riders struggling to climb the steep terrain. Oh my, it looked difficult! Our new truck tires rode smoothly, very pleased with them. It never feels good to pay for them darn it, but they do give peace of mind. We're carrying a lot of weight on them for sure!

We're camped at the Antelope Valley RV Park featuring 95 full hook-up sites. Nice place considering there's only about 3200 folks living here! I believe it's even smaller than Ely, lol. We're moving on in the morning & will arrive at Capitol Reef National Park in the mid-afternoon. Looking forward to seeing our friends when we arrive.

And finally, today is our beautiful granddaughter Jasmine's 4th birthday. They aren't having her party until Saturday but Larry & Tawnia did a nice job of decorating her bedroom with balloons this morning. She loved it of course. She told us we need to deliver her present to her "in person", tomorrow morning! And no excuses, lol! Wish we could....Unfortunately we're several hundred miles away! Well, time to hit the sack...Talk to you tomorrow!
