Our day in new Orleans was full. The Motor Coach took us first to the National World War II Museum where we saw exhibits of the June 6, 1944 invasion of Normandy, the Home Front during WWII, and the D-Day Invasion of the Pacific. Then we went to the French Quarter for a wonderful Brunch Buffet at The Court of Two Sisters and plenty of time to walk down Bourbon St and Jackson Square. The thrill of the day was a 30 minute Seaplane ride from a Bayou, over New Orleans and past the French Quarter and the Superdome. What a view of the winding Mississippi River and the beautiful bayous where we landed and then took off again.

Our River Road Tour ended on October 24th after a farewell dinner the night before. We made a lot of new friends from 14 different states. It was a great group and all had fun together.
