We visited Arches National Park today for the first time, it is breathtakingly beautiful! We had planned to spend about two hours driving through the park and ended up spending almost five hours. You can drive through much of the park, but a lot of the natural features can only be seen by taking the trails to view them. We are going to be making several return trips to the park just for trail walking and picnics.

Our first stop today was the visitor center where we watched a movie about the park. It was really informative. The center also has a lot of great displays showing how the park was formed and all the the animals and birds living in the park. We were hoping to spot some of sheep, but we didn’t see any today.

We visited the campground in the park too, it is one of them most beautiful areas to camp we have seen. We would camp there in a flash if they had full hookups and Wi-Fi. I took so many pictures it is going to be a lot of work deciding which ones to add. The park is incredible, we have never seen anything quite like it, you give out of words to express the beauty. We had an awesome day, check back later for more.
