Well Levi, it was a great day, time to sail away??? LOL

Today we celebrate 3 family birthday's! It's our nephew Bill's 42nd birthday. So if you are reading this, Happy Birthday Bill! Hope it's a great one.

It's also our grandson Jeffrey's 21st birthday. He is currently in Army basic training at Ft Leonard Wood, Mo. We, of course, are so proud of him! And finally, it's grandson Levi's first birthday today. Can you believe that Jeffrey & Levi were born on the same day, 20 years apart! Now that's fate, lol.

Larry & Tawnia threw a birthday party for Levi this past Sunday at one of the local parks. Tawnia's been working on the party for several weeks and as usual, threw her heart & soul into making it a very special day for everyone. It featured a 'Cat In The Hat' theme & started with an awesome invitation. So much so that I'm sharing the pages of the 'book' with you in today's pics. Yep, I said book. You'll see what I mean later.

Larry & I arrived a bit early & tried to be a bit of help setting things up. As you'll see in the pics there were lots of really cute decorations. Lunch was provided, including green eggs & ham!, followed by cake, cupcakes & treats galore. Tawnia baked & decorated the cake & did a great job! It was YUMMY. Different flavors in each layer & a small special cake was provided just for Levi. This cake is designed for 'cake diving' more than eating & Levi certainly did enjoy that part of his day, lol!

The last thing on the day's agenda was the opening of gifts. There were tons of new things to play with and new clothes of course. He spent the rest of his afternoon pounding on things, pushing buttons for lights & sounds & trying to stand up without falling down. Which worked out well with the 'ball pool' provided for the kids enjoyment. There was badminton & croquet provided for adult entertainment too. All in all, one terrific day!
