Glenda's Adventures with Daisy 2006-07 travel blog

The work on Daisy this morning took a bit longer than expected and cost just a little more, but I was happy. I had them replace the shower faucet and re-seal the rear rounds. I also had to replace the left rear marker light because I had made a turn too close and knocked it out. Because the drains were slow when the grey water valve was closed, I had them clean the "P" trap and blow out all the drains. I hope that will make the water flow better, particularly in the shower.

I was on the road by 11:15. I stopped in a shopping center parking lot after about an hour's drive to eat lunch. Again, there wasn't anything much to see along the way. It was about 4:00 when I arrived at my cousins' house in Bakersfield.

Their house is like a multi-ring circus! Both of cousin Joyce's children live in Bakersfield and they each have children and grandchildren, including a pair of 3-year-old twin boys and another one about the same age. Need I say more? :>) Most of them came over tonight.
