Wildflower Drive

April is one of my favorite months in Central Texas because of the abundance of beautiful wildflowers along the highways and in the meadows. Our campout at Tow, on Lake Buchanan, made it easy to see this beauty. On Saturday Ed Lohn led two carloads of us on a drive through some of the back roads in the area. He is very familiar with this area and knew where to find the most wildflowers. This was my favorite part of the campout. Of course, I begged for a photo stop around every bend and of course Ed teased me about it.

April is also my birth month as well as Ed Lohn’s. We share the April birthday cake.
