Wednesday is quilting in most long term parks. I have truly missed the female conversations that float in the air as you work, grandchildren, husbands, shopping, and park gossip. Here each quilter works on her own project while helping or consulting on each others projects. I cut out a quilt while listening to the flow of conversation around me. It was a refreshing change from our hectic moving about. They have the room from 10-4 and most packed lunch. I will too next week.
Big day yesterday, I got to print our tickets for the Price is Right. They are for January 30. Now we need to book a hotel room for the night before. It's too far from San Diego to arrive by 11:00 for the 12:00 taping. A trip to Joann's to get t-shirt supplies is in order. There were 3 pages of rules and regulations attached to the electronic ticket. Don't wear white is one of them.
The wind came in yesterday and it is ferocious. The sky is full of clouds flying over the mountains and it might rain. We have not seen rain since Oklahoma.
Tonight is a Thursday Saints game and that means Dick's blood sugar will be high Friday morning. My job is to pick up chicken wings and not run the washer or dryer during the game. I know the rules!
