The name of this town rhymes with "why not". I am staying at the Wal-Mart Superstore here and ate supper at Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar. The campgrounds charge $20 to park without any amenities and up to $30 to have water and electric. So, I decided my generator can provide electric for a little while so I can update the website. I spent the money on dinner instead! Wish I wasn't so lazy and cooked for myself! I didn't see the town, as I ran into the Wal-Mart at the edge of town as I came in on Route 83.
I saw the yellow canola fields I remember from my Alaska trip, so now I know that America produces that as well. I was told about purple flax fields in Canada and I saw one today. The color is a little darker than lavender - wish I could have stopped to take a picture!
I didn't go down the "Enchantment Highway" today - will have to come back to see that. But I got a tease of what was on that road from I-94 at exit 72. The road will have lots of big metal art works along the sides. The picture I took is from the exit on the opposite side of the highway. Figure it's better to get it from here than to go under the sculpture and be too close to get capture the whole thing.
