ADVENTURES IN OUR AMERICAN DREAM travel blog

We visited Arches N.P. in the snow today, it was awesome!

A lot of people had the same idea, the Visitor Center was...

We got a lot of snow and it's still coming down...

Devils Garden picnic area where we had our picnic a few days...

Check out the campground...wow!

Loved the trees with snow...

The campground could use a bit more plowing..:-)

The snow was keeping them busy..

People still walking the trail to Landscape Arch, even in the snow...

Park Avenue was incredible with the snow..

It was a "wowser" drive for sure..

Back home..

Last one!

When we got up this morning we were shocked to see how much snow we got, we were able to make our own snowman right in our yard. :-) The campground looks like a winter wonderland. We also noticed a lot of new campers moving in, I guess the snow made all the people camping in the no hook-up areas want to move where they have electricity to run their heaters, it is really cold this weekend.

We decided to go back to Arches National Park again and see it with the snow. When we got there it started snowing so hard we could not see anything but the road, but it soon slowed down and we were able to see. I took hundreds of pictures, it was so beautiful. I am sorting through and adding them without captions, they pretty much speak for themselves.

We could not believe how many people were in the park today, I guess they had the same idea as us. We even saw a lot of people jogging in the park and walking the trails in the snow. We never got out of the car, but we certainly enjoyed the incredible drive. Another great day in Arches National Park, check back later for more.
