We went back to Moab’s Swanney City Park today, this time for the Annual Electric Light Parade. It started at Swanney City Park and went all the way to City Market. The Christmas parade this year was called "Christmas Vacation".
The parade didn’t start until dark so we went out for dinner first. We drove a little ways out of town to a restaurant one of the locals told us not to miss. They had a prime rib special and it was incredible, some of the best prime rib we have ever had. It’s called Susie’s Branding Iron, don’t miss this one while in Moab.
We are still freezing with a high only in the teens again, the snow is still falling too. The parade was absolutely beautiful with all the floats decorated with lights in every color of the rainbow with a background of white snow.
My pictures did not do well, I am not great at taking pictures at night, plus the snow was almost like a blizzard, not a great time for taking pictures. I gave up with the camera and just enjoyed watching all the beautiful floats go by. :-) Now I wish I had more pictures to add, I did take a few good ones before it got too dark. I hope you enjoy. Check back later for more from Moab.
