I'd love to take a long, leisurely bubble bath here!

Perhaps a guest bedroom?

The neighbors will be quiet? Haha Jeanette!

Thought I better check in to let you know that we are both still alive and kicking, lol! We're staying busy finishing up our annual doctor, vet etc. appointments as we rapidly head toward our departure date. Larry went for his final appointment with the orthopedic surgeon & it looks like his foot is finally healing. The xrays show good mineralization of the bone so hopefully the slight pain he still experiences when walking too much will soon be over.

Son Tom & his family arrive from Brookings, Oregon tonight for a 5 day visit, we're excited about that. We haven't seen them since last April and Miss Maya is growing like a weed. And, later this week Mom is coming to spend 3-4 days with us as well. Can't wait to have some quality visiting time with her before she returns to Ely this spring. It's still too cold right now and the weather reports show that it will continue to be really cold there for a few more weeks, so I don't think she'll be in a big hurry!

So, that's about it for now. We'll be busy with our family this coming week and hopefully I'll get a few good pics to share. Nascar is the following weekend & I'm not sure if I'm going or not. I usually play 'Nascar widow', but the few times I went I really enjoyed it. I just hate waiting for hours after the race to head home due to the traffic exiting the track, so I generally opt to sit in the comfort of my Laz-Y-Boy and watch the race. But this year I'm really tempted to go, so we'll see how I feel as the time gets closer. It's always fun to see our friends out there, especially Archie & Jim!

And finally, I received an email from our friend Jeanette and thought you might enjoy the pictures included in it. A couple purchased an old church in Kyloe, Northumberland, in PA. They invested a lot of money on the interior, but left the exterior almost completely intact. They did more a restoration, than a renovation, which would have cost them 3 times as much. If they had not purchased the old church, who knows what would have happened to it, as it was in very bad shape. The couple adapted the interior while leaving the outside with the minimum appearance of a house. It's beautiful. Love the windows!
