Thunderhead at Sunset

Thunderhead at Sunset

This week end it rained a great deal but it didn’t really hamper our enjoyment of the campout. It just meant that we didn’t sit outside much. On Saturday morning we took a tour of the painted churches in villages near Schulenburg. This was the second tour for me but I enjoyed it just as much as the first time I took the tour in January 2003. Saturday afternoon we drove over to Columbus to explore the historic section. The museum is in what used to be a water tower and is run by the Daughters of the Confederate States of America. There were some interesting exhibits.

This evening there were thunderhead clouds not far from town at sunset. The view was incredible! I had never before seen any like these. It would have been a sin not to record the moment. :>)
