Rondoval and guinea fowl

It's a short 3 hour drive from Swellendam to Wilderness on excellent roads (though bad drivers does make it a bit dangerous). This small town is known for it's National Park and estuary which is home to many, many birds. We spent 2 nights inside the park and enjoyed some easy day hikes and observed loads of birds on the trails and on the river in front of our rondeval (round, traditional style hut). Very beautiful, pristine wetlands. Key sightings included a fish eagle, kingfisher, owl and guinea fowl (cute, aren't they?)
