Mono Lake

Mammoth Mountain

Joshua Tree

From Tioga Pass I headed south on US 395. I stopped several times to take photographs. The scenery was a little different from that along I-5. While passing through one very small town I saw this on a little church's marquee: Prevent truth decay. Brush up on your Bible.

I had lunch at the Crowley Lake vista point. Crowley Lake, created in 1941 by construction of Long Valley Dam, is the largest reservoir of the Los Angeles aqueduct system. That's a long way to send water! I've heard and read about the controversy surrounding this issue.

Tonight I checked in at the Bertrand Mobile Home & RV Park in Ridgecrest, CA.
