Muggy Mississippi8 October - I had a very enjoyable morning at the rest area before getting underway today. I got in about 5 miles of walking, and even a couple of caches. After the walk, I enjoyed free coffee in the clean and air conditioned welcome center. However, it was another hot and muggy day on the road through southern Mississippi. Actually, it wasn’t really all that hot, it just felt that way. Back in Central Cally when it’s 80, it feels like it’s 80. Here, when it’s 80, it feels like it’s 180. I spent the night at Wally World in Picayume with the windows open and the fans running all night long. It never got below 75.
