Today at the Illinois State Capitol at Springfield, was a gorgeous autumn day. The sky was blue, the weather was warm and inviting with just the gentlest of breezes. Beautiful! As I began to read from Jeremiah chapter 50, The Ruach opened my understanding of verses 2-5 that I had not seen before and now that I see it I am amazed that I had not seen it before.

Jer 50:2 Declare you among the nations and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and don't conceal: say, Bavel is taken, Bel is disappointed, Merodakh is dismayed; her images are disappointed, her idols are dismayed.

Jer 50:3 For out of the north there comes up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they are fled, they are gone, both man and animal.

Jer 50:4 In those days, and in that time, says the LORD, the children of Yisra'el shall come, they and the children of Yehudah together; they shall go on their way weeping, and shall seek the LORD their God.

Jer 50:5 They shall inquire concerning Tziyon with their faces turned toward it, [saying], Come, and join yourselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that shall not be forgotten.

After the taking of Babylon, which we believe to be America and those of like mind, (referring to Jer 51:1, Lev-Kamai meaning those of like-mind) the children of Israel and the children of Judah come together.

This is an important understanding so we will not try to force YHVH's hand and end up birthing Ishmael's.

All who wait upon YHVH will renew their strength, they will mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

It's all about being where He wants us, when He wants us there, doing what He wants us doing! That means putting aside our desires, plans, agendas, laying down our life for Him, then and only then will we be in the center of His will. It's not about finding solutions, (which as humans we do very well), it is about obedience.
