The Mothership is snow and 'Maine muck' bound!

Snow arrived 3 days after we got home.

Beautiful snow - beats 89 humid degrees in FL!

We left for Florida at the end of November, after spending Thanksgiving with family on the Cape. We spent most of our FL time in Bushnell, at the Escapees park there, where we met up with some friends from the Alaska trip. This was a quiet winter for us - some dog training with Ivan Balabanov, fitness training with Amanda Sprague - aka Armbandgirl (as of this writing, I've lost 30 pounds since October, 2006), and just relaxing after a very, very busy couple of years.

We headed back to Maine on March 24th, stopping at the KOA in Middleborough, MA for several days to visit with family. We got home to the Bucksport place on April 2nd - beating the big snowstorm here, but having a nightmare of a time getting the RV stuck in the muck half-way up the drive. It took a couple of days to get it towed out, and back down to the main part of the drive - where it awaits driveway reconstruction when things dry out. The Tahoe also got stuck near the same place, but we have made repairs enough to get in and out when the conditions are right. With all of that, we're still happy to be here instead of hot and humid Florida! And the dog (a Maine native) just loves the snow and cold! We do look forward to some drier and sunnier weather - there's a lot to do to get this place where we want it!
