Crestview RV, Georgetown - Windmill and Water Tank

This morning I drove back to Georgetown to Crestview RV so as to be available for my early-morning appointment on Monday. On Friday afternoon my service writer, Terry, told me that the parts for my brake job had arrived but not the sensor for my jacks. At least I’ll be able to get the more critical brake repairs made tomorrow.

I arrived at the Crestview lot around noon. The service department is closed on weekends but the sales department opens at 1:00 on Sundays. Because of the heat I wanted to run my generator so I could use my air conditioner. Aarrgghh!! The generator wouldn’t start. That meant that I couldn’t use my air conditioner. However, when the sales manager arrived, he had an employee plug my motorhome into electricity. What a relief!

The generator had worked just fine on my way to Crestview on Wednesday morning, so I don’t know what the problem is. I know that there is plenty of gasoline because I had stopped in Burnet to fill my fuel tank. I guess I’ll have to add the generator to my service job tomorrow unless it decides to perform. If they don’t have time to do it, I’ll just have to wait until another time. Grrr!!

I must be back in Austin by tomorrow afternoon to have blood work done before my surgery on Tuesday. There’s just too much going on my life right now. I’ve about forgotten how to manage tight schedules since my retirement. :>)

As I was driving through Burnet I saw this cute sign at a church: Sonscreen prevents sinburn.
