Welcome to the Magnolia State7 October - The further south I go the hotter and muggier it gets. It’s no wonder that the Southern US has weight issues. It’s too darn thick and sticky to be outside so they stay inside air conditioned spaces all day watching TV and eating. That’s my theory anyway. I spent the night just inside the Mississippi State Line at the Lauderdale County Welcome Center, sandwiched between alternating big rigs. Fun! Fun! Fun!
