6 October - I fueled-up this morning at WalMart at 2.17 a gallon before continuing southwest towards Louisiana. I barely clipped the northwest corner of Georgia en route to the Flying J in Birmingham to spend the night. Made a couple of geopit stops and did a mall walk along the way.
