Yahoo, the 5th province behind us as we entered Quebec today. Ontario was great but it was a long ride across so it is nice to enter province number six as we head for Newfoundland!

Very long day in the saddle but the weather was great and the scenery was super. We crossed the Ottawa river twice by ferry to reach Hudson and the camp.

We cycled with Jane and Fred all day and while the wind was no factor we did make good use of the pace line and it helped to have 4 people looking for road signs when the turns and twists came up. We also rode at a fast pace all day which made allowed us to be in camp in reasonable time.

On route we had a great second breakfast of “Eggs Benedict” which was on special. Man was it a full plate with all kinds of fruits from grapes and bananas to oranges, grapefruit, melons etc. That breakfast lasted me all day and good thing as there were not many places on route for food.

Good camp site and a good night!
