It rained quite a bit last night and this morning it was in the low 40s. Once again, blankets and heat felt good.
This morning I called Statkus Engines Performance and RV Center (the place recommended by Camping World) and they were able to work me in. After a quick breakfast, I hightailed it to Albuquerque. They did not have lug nuts like the ones I needed but they found some other nuts that worked. They re-installed the valve stem extensions and hub cap. Now I feel more comfortable. I hope this will be the last chapter of this saga!
My home tonight is at Enchanted Trails RV Park and Trading Post. It is on a desert mesa overlooking Albuquerque and the Sandia Mountains. To the east of the park are three extinct volcanoes. I was very happy to learn that they have free WiFi so I could catch up at last on my trip journal and e-mails. Another plus for the park is that it is next door to Camping World.
