We arrived in Pendleton Oregon today. It was a wonderfully gorgeous drive from Bend, OR through mountains along Hwy 126 then onto Hwy 395 going North to Pendleton. We find Pendleton to be a nice little town, about 40,000 people. Need more time here to see everything though. We went to the Pendleton wool mill, took alook around, then to old downtown for a tour of the "underground city", then on for some dinner at "Roosters" restaurant, fabulous chicken noodle soup.

You can see from the pictures, our setup is unique from anything we've experienced before, wheat field behind us and very few trees.

Mind you right now we're on our way to Great Falls, MT so all of our stops from now till June 5 will be short stops. See our updated Itinerary for more detailed information.
