Tonight my church group meeting was at the home of our leader, Wes Spradley. However, Wes was not present; he is in South Africa for a couple of months teaching at Union Bible College. He is letting the Young family stay there while they are in Austin.
Chris and Flor Young are missionaries with The Navigators in Argentina. Chris is American and Flor has dual citizenship in her native Argentina and the USA. They gave us a very interesting report on their life and ministry in Argentina. They will be returning home this week end because they need to get their two children back to school.
According to their Web page, [www.navigators.org] The Navigators® is an international, interdenominational Christian ministry established in 1933 as an outreach for followers of Jesus Christ to help others come to know and grow in Him as they navigate through life – a goal embodied by The Navigators motto, “to Know Christ and to Make Him Known®.” Navigators are characterized by an eagerness to introduce Jesus to those who don't know Him, a passion to see those who do know Jesus deepen their relationship with Him, and a commitment to training Jesus followers to continue this nurturing process among the people they know.
