We've just spent an utterly relaxing two days at Emu Creek Station, a few hours south-east of Exmouth. Sal found the place on the map and that they did station stays and camping, and after confirming that the 25 or so k's of dirt to get in were in good nick, we decided to come and check the place out.

It's been brilliant! We've been the only ones camping here, down by the Yannarie River which is a beautiful temperature for swimming, and with a couple of kayaks provided. Joyce and Darrell are the very friendly hosts and we've found it necessary to avail ourselves of Joyce's generous Devonshire tea each day.

The weather has been perfect and it's been easy to pass the time sitting around reading, playing games, swimming and making a fire each evening. We're really glad we found this place!
