Austin Healey in Spain

After an easy drive fom Seville to Algeceiras on the southern tip of Spain, we boarded the high speed ferry to Tangier's new port.

We gained two hours on our watches and arrived at ourhotel in time to stroll along the beach, have a quick swim in the hotel pool and head off to the Medina with Tessa and Pen for a wander and a dinner sitting at an outside table in the small square. We refrained from making any purchases, but started to get into the mood for the souk in Marrakech tomorrow as we climbed up the little streets lined with shops and very eager shopkeepers.

The temperature is perfect - although there was a large cloud hanging over the rock of Gibraltar and a few drops of rain on our arrival in Morocco. Here in downtown Tangier it is a pleasant 25 degrees in the shade.
