During the preceding days we discussed something we knew would come some day. That is, when will this RV life end? Well July 31 was the day. We had both come to the conclusion that we just didn’t like it as much as we used to. We had 11 years of wonderful trips with fantastic people. We saw a great many wonders of the US and Canada. We had no major mishaps. So today we called Woodland RV Storage and canceled our spot. The RV was not going back to CA.

Right now we were going to Yakima WA to stay at the Elks Lodge, another of our favorite campgrounds. The RV park has water and electric in a large, level, grassy field with nice big trees for shade. It is right on the edge of their golf course. And the bar serves great meals. We had to visit North Town Coffee Shop for a cheese Danish and an almond croissant. And we had to shop at Fred Meyer. We wine tasted at the Kana Winery tasting room in downtown Yakima. We went to Bale Breaker Brewery for beer sampling and filled our growler. We played golf. We went to St. Paul’s Cathedral and had dinner that evening at Crafted, a local farm to table restaurant that has outstanding food.
