9 of us went to Fisheating Creek near Palmdale which is 1 hour and fifteen minutes away. Pauline towed a kayak/bike carrier and only one other car was needed! The put in is owned by the State, but the concessioners control the access to it and they charge $50 per person for a 6 mile trip. We got a discount of $9 each, but still this isn't a place we frequent very often.

For some reason, my camera stopped working, so I didn't get very many pictures. The one of me, of the cypress knees, and of the alligator were taken by Pam, so I thank her for sharing with me.

It was a special day and I am grateful I was invited to join Pauline, Pam, Judy, Joan, Karen, Sue, Julia, and Cynthia.
