It was cold and windy when we arrived at Cochise Terrace RV Park in Benson, about 40 miles east of Tucson. Spent one day visiting the towns of Tombstone and Bisbee. Tombstone is where Wyatt Earp was a lawman and where the famous shootout was at the "OK Corral". We also walked the streets of the old mining town of Bisbee. The next day we were invited to go on an off road drive with the "Jeepers Creepers" Jeep gang who winter in Benson, AZ. There were 9 jeeps in all. We drove to a spot where a military jet had crashed into the side of the mountain after World War 2. There is still some of the wreckage there, including part of the jet engine. We had a great day driving the rough terrain in foothill deserts.

The last evening there we had a nice visit with one of Marcie's collage friends and her husband, Nancy and Jim Mathews, who winter in Tucson. They hadn't seen each other in over 40 years.
