Summer 2013 Travels travel blog

Made it back. It was good to see the sign and get...

We left Dreamcatcher about 9 am after the breakfast. We were all packed up so just needed to unhook the electric and hook up the toad and we were on the road west.

I had planned two stopping spots, The Elks at Wilcox at 163 miles or the Fairgrounds at Tucson about 95 miles more down the road.

As you can see - we ended up at the SKP Park at Rover's Roost about 300 miles from Deming. The road was good, Ron felt OK, and one night's boondocking at the SKP park was free. What more could we want. We also had an easy day into North Ranch the next day.

We stopped just before 8 went west and topped off the gas tank. Now we will easily have enough to get to NR and probably to Quartzsite next January.

One nice thing was meeting up with Andre, a friend from working at Escapade. He came over after we set up and we had a nice visit. He had been up to NR getting his rig weighed.

We were up early and pulled out for home. We got there about noon and Rich was just finishing the last touches on the bathroom. Pictures in the next post.
