Today was the last day to view a three-story, 118-year-old dollhouse on display in Largo for the holidays. The house is 3 feet tall and was a gift from Marie-Gay Lodge's grandfather to her mother and aunt in 1891. Of German descent, Lodge's grandfather had the dollhouse and furniture handmade in Essen, Germany. The attention to detail was incredible. To put it on display took 6 days with the help of the lady's son from Cincinnati and her daughter who flew in from Italy. Take a look at the photos.
I had lunch with friends Ginnie Eitel and Mary Lenholt today on Redington Beach. We ate at a cute cafe and gift shop called Secret Sage.
