Lady at the rally, she has been around
Escapee rally - Only seminar we went to and I had to...
The six of us went out to dinner. They had peanuts in...
They fixed the truck in Kansas City. They replaced an entire bank of 4 fuel injectors. So we started out on the road to Sedalia, figuring to arrive on Monday, only 5 days late for the rally. About 50 miles short of Sedalia we heart a bing bang. It was the turbo hose blowing off. Without the turbo we could only do about 35 mph with the pedal to the floor. We just kept going because they stop parking rigs at 2 pm. We arrived at 2 pm and just parked ourselves. Finally the parking guys showed up and told us to park where we were parking anyway.
The good. There were tons of our friends there. We hung out a lot with Bill and Judy Teetz and Steve and Suzie. We talked with quit a few other HH owners.
The bad. The truck went to the dealer like 4 times while in Sedalia. They got it fixed but it cost me $619.22.
More bad. On the way south out of Sedalia today I notice the front right tire on the truck has a major problem, probably separating.
At the rally I was going to buy a gas tank for the generators, but I forgot to go on Thursday to get it. I bought a router for my USB modem, then remembered I already bought one and had it shipped to Montana. Susan got new carpets for the kitchen. We went out to dinner one night, just Susan and I. Very nice place. We also went to the old part of town with Steve, Suzie, Bill and Judy.
I never did attend a seminar, I tried but the Ford dealer called me 10 minutes into it and I had to leave. Susan missed her driving lesson. We both missed RV Bootcamp (and we paid $130 for that). It rained cats and dogs and we were all parked on grass. We had lots of entertainment watching people trying to leave. I got lucky, I went to watch HaroldG leave and he had some plywood that a trailer bought and gave to him. He got out fine, and then let Bruce (of Bruce and Bunny) use the wood and they got out easy. Then they gave the wood to me and I used it to get out this morning without any problem. Tow truck pulled out hundreds of motor homes.
So tomorrow I go to WalMart to replace one tire. Tonight is our first night in a ROP campground that we get to camp in for free. Nice place and we wanted to go into the pool but we are to busy.
