Almost the Whole Pacific Coast - Winter/Spring 2016 travel blog

The departure from Las Vegas couldn't have gone more smoothly. The Uber driver arrived at our campground less than five minutes after Ken paged him with the app. We all looked at his google maps app and decided together on the best route to the airport. Las Vegas taxi drivers are well known for running up the meter with creative routing. The driver ranted and raved about how much he enjoys driving for Uber and before we knew it, we arrived at American Airlines. We got a coupon as first time users. Cost for the ride - $3. We 're fans! After this trip is over, we know who to look for on the drive back to the campground.

We're flying Business Class to Santiago, which means First Class domestically. Sure did enjoy those heated nuts! The night before a big trip we never sleep too well, but it was easy to nap in the reclining seat. The Admirals Lounge in Miami is under construction, so it isn't nearly as opulent as it was in London last fall and the wi if is poor. There are no working electric outlets to charge our devices. Positively medieval.
