Jackie in the Springs

Harry in the springs

Stopped at Liard River Provincial park (ie primitve camping) to relax in the acclaimed hot springs. Unfortunately the mosquitos were THICK!!! The good news is that the 45% Deet that we got at Cabellos worked pretty well :) It was 1/2 mile on the boardwalk to the springs and the Mosquitoes tried to carry us away with our original Deep Woods Off. That just attracted them and any body parts not in the water got eaten alive. A shame as it was very beautiful and relaxing if you could get out and cool off now and then without being eaten alive. It was very warm to stay in long at a time. Highly recommend IF it IS NOT mosquito season!! We did postpone breakfast this day so we could gorge ourselves on the "galactically famous" warm cinnamon rolls at Tetsa RV Park. Well worth the hype!!
