|We left camp at Tok, AK and traveled about 110 miles to Beaver Creek, Yukon. Along the way, the roads were slow going as this is the part of the AlCan highway that had the problems with frost heaves, gravel breaks and just plain mean stuff, that we had traveled before in the opposite direction. We passed thru Canadian Customs without any problems and proceeded to "Buckshot Betty's" for lunch on our way to our campgrounds. We arrived at our campground, "Westmark Inn & Campground" at about 1:00pm. We were assigned our campsite, setup and had a briefing for Haines Junction at 4:00pm. We then had a social with most of the caravan, until time to go to our dinner show at the Westmark Inn Theatre. The dinner was family style chicken, rice, beef stew and salad with a Baked Alaska for dessert. The show following was the best show with the best talent of the shows we had seen. The male and female stars were really good, and worked very hard to provide us with a good evenings entertainment.
