Winter 2010 - 2011 travel blog

AH!! 41 years ago I was holding my little pink bundle in my arms. It doesn't seem possible that all these years have flown by. Now she has held 5 little pink bundles of her own and the oldest is ready for college next year.

As far as our lives here - we have been digging holes and transplanting plants. I was able to pick up some beautiful variegated agave pups from the garden excess at North Ranch. So we planted them beside the side walls in the front of our lot. I had some ice plant that I needed to move so we planted them around the agave. I think we are getting too much water on the agave so they might have to be lifted.

Ron also spaded up the garden area. We will plant gourds there for the summer. I'm hoping to get some good sized gourds to take to the woodcarving week next year.

Other than that - it has been the same old - same old. Laundry, cooking, washing dishes, watching TV and surfing the web.

Oh - we did have a really nice end of season pot luck on Saturday night. 12 people and lots of good food. Several will be leaving in the next couple weeks. One couple is staying most of the summer.

See you on Thursday.

Anyway that is the way our lives have been going. Hope you and yours are well and happy. ENJOY!!
