The Volunteer State29 September - In-spite-of the all-night long rumbling of nearby semi-trucks and my flawed geocaching expedition, I enjoyed my 2 day stay in Williamsburg. My drive into Tennessee and on to Knoxville continued through green rollin hills and as I crossed the Tennessee State Line, I couldn’t contain myself from breaking out in song with "I'm Just a Smoky Mountain Boy".
I stopped at Sam’s Club in east Knoxville for the night and enjoyed a few hours of walking and hanging out in the adjacent mall until closing time. I also tracked down my first Tennessee geocache, which was hid less than 200 feet from where Daisy was parked for the night.
